Decimal 1.50 = Fractional 1/2 = American -200
A heavy favourite. Implied probability 66.67%. You risk ₹200 to win ₹100 (or ₹500 to win ₹250).
Convert betting odds between decimal (1.90), fractional (9/10), and American (-111) formats instantly. See implied probability for any odds. Works on mobile, no login required.
Odds are quoted in three different formats around the world. Indian bookmakers typically use decimal (e.g., 1.90). UK bookmakers historically use fractional (e.g., 9/10). US bookmakers use American or moneyline format (e.g., -111). Same underlying odds, different display.
This converter shows the equivalent value in all three formats plus the implied probability (the probability the odds represent, which tells you how likely the outcome needs to be for the bet to be a fair value). Type in any format and get the other two automatically.

WhatsApp Support ChatHistorical convention. UK bookmakers used fractional format (bets and returns as a fraction of stake). US bookmakers use American format (positive numbers for underdogs, negative for favourites, based on $100 stakes). Decimal format (used across Europe, Asia, and Indian betting platforms) is the simplest: your total return per unit stake.
Decimal odds are the easiest for calculating returns: total return equals stake × decimal odds. For ₹500 at odds of 1.90, total return is ₹500 × 1.90 = ₹950 (including your stake). Fractional odds require an extra step (return = stake × (numerator/denominator) + stake). American odds require different formulas for positive and negative numbers.
Implied probability is what the odds are saying the outcome's probability is. Formula: 100 / decimal odds = implied probability %. Odds of 2.00 mean 50% implied probability. Odds of 1.50 mean 66.67% implied probability. This is the probability the outcome would need to occur for the bet to break even long-term.
Subtract 1 (to get the profit per unit), then express as a fraction. 1.90 - 1 = 0.90 profit per ₹1 stake. Expressed as a fraction: 90/100 = 9/10. So decimal 1.90 = fractional 9/10. The converter above does this instantly.
For decimal odds ≥ 2.00: American = +((decimal - 1) × 100). So 2.50 gives +150. For decimal odds < 2.00: American = -(100 / (decimal - 1)). Example: 1.50 becomes -200.
Almost all Indian betting platforms including Lotus 365 Blue use decimal odds. You may occasionally see fractional odds on some cricket exchange markets or in international bookmaker feeds. American odds are rare in India.
Not necessarily. Higher decimal odds mean higher potential return per unit stake, but they also mean lower implied probability. Whether the odds represent good value depends on your assessment of the actual probability versus the implied probability. If you believe the true probability is higher than what the odds imply, you have found value.
Vig (short for vigorish) or juice is the bookmaker's margin built into the odds. If a two-outcome market's implied probabilities add up to more than 100% (e.g., 52% + 52% = 104%), the extra 4% is the bookmaker's margin. Lower-vig platforms offer better long-term value to bettors.
