About This Tool

The bet calculator answers a simple question: if I stake ₹X at odds of Y, how much will I win, and what is my total return?

Total return = stake × decimal odds. Winnings (profit only) = total return minus your original stake. For example, ₹1,000 stake at odds of 1.90 gives total return of ₹1,900, of which ₹900 is profit (winnings) and ₹1,000 is your returned stake. Use the calculator below to check any combination.

Bet Return Calculator: Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between winnings and total return?

Winnings (profit only) is the amount you gain from a successful bet, not counting your original stake. Total return is your stake plus your winnings, which is the amount actually credited to your account when the bet wins. Example: ₹1,000 at odds 1.90 gives ₹900 winnings and ₹1,900 total return.

How do I calculate my bet return manually?

Total return = stake × decimal odds. Winnings = total return - stake. For fractional odds: winnings = stake × (numerator ÷ denominator). For American odds (positive): winnings = stake × (american ÷ 100). For American odds (negative): winnings = stake × (100 ÷ |american|).

Does this calculator apply GST or TDS?

No. This calculator shows gross return figures only. Indian tax on gambling winnings (currently 30% flat rate) is applied at withdrawal or annual tax filing, not at bet settlement. Consult a tax professional for your specific situation.

Why do decimal odds always include my stake in the return?

Decimal odds represent total return per unit stake. Odds of 1.90 mean for every ₹1 staked, you receive ₹1.90 back if the bet wins (₹1 stake + ₹0.90 winnings). This is why the minimum decimal odds are 1.01, not 0.01: below 1.00 would mean you receive less than your stake back.

Can I calculate for multiple bets at once?

This calculator handles single bets only. For accumulator or parlay bets (multiple selections combined into one bet), use our parlay calculator. It multiplies odds together across all selections and calculates the combined return.

What is a good return on stake?

Return on stake (ROI on this bet) simply equals your winnings divided by your stake, expressed as a percentage. It's just another way of expressing the odds: 100% ROI = odds of 2.00, 50% ROI = odds of 1.50, 200% ROI = odds of 3.00. Higher isn't always better; it correlates with lower probability of winning.

What is the minimum bet stake on Lotus 365 Blue?

Minimum stakes vary by market. Cricket and sports betting typically start at ₹50 to ₹100 per bet. Casino slot spins can be as low as ₹10. Live dealer card games typically start at ₹50 to ₹100 per hand. Some VIP tables have higher minimums.

Does the calculator work for cash-out amounts?

This calculator shows the potential return if your bet wins at the original odds. Cash-out amounts (partial return before the event completes) are calculated separately based on current market odds and are shown in your bet slip when cash-out is available.
